The staff are so friendly and helpful , and the stock is fantastic, fairly priced and the workshop is excellent, Cal can turn his hand at most things and he is so knowledgeable and keen to help. They also have a wee cafe and it is reasonable priced. Live music events are held there with young local talent given opportunities to play .

  I have a very well played (29 year old) Jim Deacon Vintage Strat. As you can imagine the frets were well worn making it almost impossible to set up a smooth action. I have had other guitars over the years but always return to the Jim Deacon as it is my fav to play. After discussing with Cal, it was decided to completely replace the neck, as there wasn't a lot of fret left to polish down at some points ! After handing in my guitar for only one day it was returned with a new neck, bone nut and quality tuning pegs. It was set up to a high standard with lovely action an perfect intonation. A great idea for anyone wanting to resurrect older loved guitars and make them as new. Thank you Cal for the quality of work and amazing value. I would highly recommend. Thanks, Joe 🙂

  Picked up my beautiful Gibson SG from W2WM after it's service. It had been neglected for 12+ years, so they had a job to do. Just plugged it in and tried it out with some of the fastest runs I've ever achieved. The action is so low and buzz free now that it's like going from a physical computer keyboard to a touch screen one. Is that a weird analogy? They also tidied up nearly 13 years of muck out of the switches and pots, so all related crackles and pops have been eliminated... this has revealed that I really REALLY need some new cables. Excellent value for money, and great service. Thanks guys...

  Just put my PRS SE Singlecut in for a set up as it was a second hand guitar and I wanted it done properly. Even in the short amount of time I've been able to play it since I collected it today I am already really happy with the work done. Plays beautifully and sounds great, I'd absoloutely recommend Cal to anyone and I'll certainly be back with my other guitars in future.
